I was asked by Five Books to recommend five books related to the issue of climate change and my own book, The Climate Fix. Five Books then interviewed me about my selections. You can see what I came up with here.
What books would be on your list?

3 comments:
1) David Andrews, An Introduction to Atmospheric Physics
2) Andrew Montford, The Hockey Stick Illusion
3) Roy Spencer, The Great Global Warming Blunder
4) Roger Pielke Jr, The Climate Fix
5) Peter Oborne, The Triumph of the Political Class
would seem like a reasonable start.
1)Andrew Montford, The Hockey Stick Illusion
2)Roy Spencer, The Great Global Warming Blunder
3)Nigel Lawson, An Appeal to Reason
4) Christopher Booker, "The Real Global Warming Disaster"
5)Henrik Svensmark, The Chilling Stars
"The level of support for action on climate change is well within the zone in which major action has been taken on a lot of different issues. I view the debates over the science like the debates over evolution.
Five Books: So, some people are just a bit mad.
Pielke Jr.: Yes. The debate on evolution is not an obstacle to getting good medical care.
Five Books: And it’s not really a debate. There are just some nutters.
Pielke Jr.: Right
So the skeptics are just some nutters? Interesting.
