Dr. Pielke,Excellent graphs!I submit the following two graphs to augment yours:World Coal ResourcesWorld Natural Gas ResourcesAs expected, we see a very strong correlation between who has what and which resource is most commonly used.
The China data is a little out of date. I count 15 under construction and 9 more scheduled to start before the end of the year. http://www.world-nuclear.org/info/inf63.html
On a related note, look what WWF is doing with the CO2 numbers from this...http://nextbigfuture.com/2009/08/world-wide-fund-for-nature-g8-climate.html
-3-josh, thanks, discussed a bit here:http://rogerpielkejr.blogspot.com/2009/07/nevermind-that-pesky-reality.html
Just to clarify, does the rest of the world not have any nuclear reactors (say Britain or Italy),or is the graph cut off at 10 reactors?
Sharon- No, there are other reactors. Britain has 10.
